2. Information we collect
- Account & contact data: name, email address, company, when you sign up or request a demo.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser information.
- Cookies & tracking: cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and to remember your preferences (see Section 7).
- Communications: messages you send to us by email or contact forms.
- MCP and AI assistant usage: when you connect HookRadar to an AI assistant through MCP, we may process authentication events, workspace/team identifiers, tool requests, usage logs, and results returned from your HookRadar workspace as needed to provide the integration.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service.
- To respond to demo requests, support inquiries and other communications.
- To send service updates and, with your consent where required, marketing emails.
- To analyze product usage and protect against fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your personal data based on: (a) performance of a contract, (b) your consent, (c) compliance with legal obligations, and (d) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support tools) acting on our behalf, or where required by law. These providers are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.
6. AI assistant and MCP integrations
If you connect HookRadar to an AI assistant or MCP-compatible client, HookRadar processes requests from that client on your behalf. Information returned from your HookRadar workspace may be shared with the client you authorized, at your direction. Your use of that client is also governed by the client provider's own terms and privacy policy.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the website and, with your consent, analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing cookies in your browser to be re-prompted.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EU/UK.
9. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Demo request data is retained while a sales conversation is active and for a reasonable period thereafter.
10. Your rights

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the latest changes were made. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
